Do I need microcontrollers or IoT hardware?

No — the core path is software-first. You can progress through GUI-first web work, AI architect workflows, and portfolio projects without buying a kit. Optional IoT modules and ESP32 kits are available when you want hands-on hardware proof. Many of our long-time customers are microcontroller builders; the optional track is there when you're ready.

What does “AI architect” mean?

AI writes more of the syntax now. Your job is to direct the build — briefs, brand, structure, GUI, proof on GitHub — using tools like the Rebel Vault (DeskMemory) as your workspace. We teach that shift: from competing on keystrokes to architecting what gets shipped.

For coding roles, proof usually wins. A degree or cert shows you passed a gate; a GitHub portfolio shows what you shipped. Employers and clients increasingly care about the second. We rebel against credentialism in tech because it often doesn't reflect ability — your repos do.

Each tier has a minimum 21-day timer before the next unlocks — even if you've passed the assessment — because speed-running videos doesn't make you hireable. The full path through six tiers plus Rebel Guild takes months at a realistic pace. The free workshop is one session; the subscription path is the long game.
